This is a sample of my music that I have written over the years....I've tried to come up with songs that I like and fit my style of play..... My music is a blend of Soft Rock Instrumental Music featuring Electric and Acoustic Guitars with Percussion and Keyboards.... My Roots stem from 7 years of Piano lessons as a child to playing in the school band.... Then playing Guitar in a band in the late 60's, for school dances. social events or any body that would listen to us....

Story behind the song
Now you all know I've been trying to come up with a 60's Surf song. I'm close but not there yet, my latest song "Summer Waves" is almost there. I put it up on my music page to get a little feed back from anyone who would like to comment on it. It's a bit different I put a Latin Beat to it and used a dark chord progression. Is the Bass to over powering??? How's the timing??? This song is pretty involved 4 lead guitars playing the lead in this song. I tried to come up with several different sounds all trying to complement each other. Not sure I pulled it off.. what I started with is totally different from what I finished with. I love it when a song takes on a life of it's own and your just along for the ride. That's what this tune did, I just kept adding stuff and it just took off. I started on this song yesterday I was fooling around with some chords and like always I record my practice sessions, and when I played back what I was goofing around with, hey that doesn't sound to bad. I had a Latin beat playing in my drum program that I was playing to, just doing something different. Well the rhythm and melody is taken right off that practice session. This song is a long one, once I got going I sort of got carried away. Threw in a bass line and of coarse some strings in the back ground. Been at it pretty much straight for 2 days, but what I came up with is sort of a surf song. This tune I stepped out of the box...
