It has been my pleasure to have jammed, gigged and recorded with many great bands and musicians over the years. This site will represent a sampling of those taped encounters. Be gentle.

Story behind the song
This was recorded by the band "Sundown" in 1981 at the Crosstown Tavern. It was a fun gig, we played a lot and made some money. The late great bassist George Norman would say nightly, "Welcome to the Crosstown Tavern, overlooking the beautiful Vickers Gas Station. After a weekend of rockin' at the club, it would take weeks to get the smoke and chicken grease off my drums and cases. Great playing by guitar player Bob Dowdy and the rest of the band. The intro to the song is by George Norman. I miss he and Bob much.
