The group performed at the University of Maryland's 2005 Homecoming Football game, where they unveiled their original song, "Mr. DQ Jackson", written for Terps All American football player, D'Qwell Jackson. In addition to performing at school functions, the band is also the Official Houseband of the Terrapin Times Magazine/Website where they perform annually at the huge Terrapin Times Magazine's Spring Tailgate Party on the campus of the University of Maryland as well as being on the bill with their world famous friends The Nighthawks at the East Coast Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, which drew over 9,000 motorcycle enthusiasts this past summer. has had Top 10 songs on internet music charts where many artists post their music, with Blues Unchained reaching number 1 on popular independent music websites, including SoundClick.com and MP3Songs.UK.Org, for their original song, "Fishin' On The Chesapeake Bay". The lyrics were written by singer and songwriter Eddie Crowe and the music and arrangements done by bandleader and lead guitarist Bobby 'Blue' Perry. The group also reached top ten status with 3 other tunes, including a rousing rendition of The Nighthawks' classic, "Too Tall To Mambo". "We wanted to pay homage to one of our favorite bands that has been doing it a long time now, just with our own twist to the song", Perry said between his and Crowe's laughter. "Ironically, I've never had the pleasure of hearing The Nighthawks' original version of Too Tall. When I told that to Mark Wenner of the Nighthawks he just laughed with me".The band looks forward to an upcoming, soon to be released studio effort and more live performances in the area, and recently enjoyed a stint as the houseband on Baltimore's WMAR-TV Channel 2 for the Steve Rouse hosted "Baltimore Saturday Night" TV Show that was aired on April 1st and April 8th.
