When you hear the DING you have to imagine that there is a violin playing along with the track. My first collaboration with make-believe musicians.

These are the timeless classics you grew up with again and again.
This webpage hosts the GREATEST HITS OF JARED MANLEY. It includes some of his recent solo songs, some hits off of his Macbethean Rock opera, as well as a few treats from his low-fi, postmodern psychedelic freak-out "band" from high school. The newest stuff is at the top of the MUSIC page on this site, the oldest stuff - going as far back as sixth grade - is down at the bottom. Warning: If listened to under the right circumstances, they may induce JARED MANIA.

Lyrics
I've heard that some live forever, though spread thin through their sweat. Turning it into little dreams - tears to icicles, and stuff like that. But a drop of dust a day becomes a sheet of snow. With no wind to whip it, it glitters and it grows. I've heard the voices of lovers they whisper and they huff sweeping away the fear of sleep, and carrying off the dust. But dandelions fade to ash and lovers tend to go. And some will say that you spit in their eyes instead of the tears they pretend not to cry. You gotta be careful not to spit in people's eyes. But there are flakes of rust in every siren's sigh. Though you might get bored with rotting words. And you might feel feint from the formaldehyde sting of paint. But the only things that move are the things you make. The body is not a statue though the mind weighs like a marble crown. And life is more than a bronze plaque of when you came and when you'll be gone. But the only things that live are the things you make. There's a special name for the things that you make.
