Story behind the song
There are times in life when we don't feel like singing because our bodies are suffering in various ways. But we still have some breath, or some sight, or some hearing... and with that we can say, "While I have yet any being..." I WILL lift my voice and sing..." Why? Because that will to worship can never be taken away from those who choose it as long as we have "any being". And that's the greatest choice a person can make, especially when suffering in some way.

Hi Daniel, I came here to listen to your songs and found this one "Jesus Is Lord". Especially I love the message of this song and the story behind it. It´s good to praise the Lord at all times, even when we have troubles in our lives. Jesus deserves all our praise and worship, because He is our Redeemer and the most faithful friend. This song is such a great encouragement and reminder to come close to the Lord and start to thank Him and get comforted in His presence. With thanks and blessings, Lea
