"Dance FX 21" produces very futuristic techno by seriously exploiting the ongoing software revolution in sound editing. With software studios such as Reason and Cubase etc, I can have sound studios as big as I want as long as the CPU can take it (and as long as my brain isn’t over taxed!).

Story behind the song
Into the Abyss reflects an adventure into the unknown, as if explorers were descending into deep chasm where the bottom is beyond the human eye. One can only imagine the sense of standing in a vast cavern, located a couple of kilometres straight down, from the surface. The track itself involves plenty of percussion which complements an appropriately sinister theme. Of course, the usual effects are included, but many reflect features from Mechanised, Be on the Beat, and Thunder Blast.
