Cookie cutter sound virgins must be trampled! Every time we allow the pathetic and uninspired to go unpunished, it weakens the meaning of our praise. Without our righteous vengeance these worthless sheep will flourish here until all that is worthwhile is overwhelmed by the flood of weak, boring trash!
We must stand against this incoming tide of stupidity, or else the sweet sound of talent will be drowned out by it! If this realm becomes saturated by boring crap, no one will bother wading through it to find MY creations.
So, consider this a defensive assault. Call me conceited, fine. To consider one's own artwork worthy of sharing with others DEMANDS some measure of conceit. To feel your work has any worth, comparable to the work of the giants who come before and after you is conceited indeed. As an artist, I am out for blood.
