I am an independent writer/performer/producer making summery sounds with lots of harmony, guitars, and emotion.
Brian Wilson said of his epic work Pet Sounds, "I wanted to make the listener feel loved." Those words have always remained with me and I hope to share loving, healing sounds with the listener as well.

Story behind the song
This is a modern Psalm describing the practice of hiding in God in your innocence...
Lyrics
Hiding Place You have been my hiding place You have been my cubby hole Like a child I steal away From a world that I can't control I can see reality draw slowly into focus in your presence, Lord You have always shielded me From enemies too strong for me I've seen you perform What you have sworn to do... You have been my big surprise As you've opened up my eyes Not to find an angry judge But, a Dad who won't bear a grudge I can see my yesterdays Grow slowly dim against the light of sacred hope You have promised faithfully To reveal your Son in me I trust not in vain you'll come again for me...

This song I really love...it ministers to me in an amazing way...it's an intimate talk with the Lord from a child's point of view....I had the privilege not long ago to cover this oh, so sweet song. It gets the 5-star treatment on all points. :)
