I am a rambling blues and folk songwriter and stringplucker. I have been living in Belize, Central America for the past 9 years, originally from Pennsylvania, USA. My songs speek for my travels and experiences, which have carried me to many amazing, inspiring, and eye-opening places and encountered many awesome, couragous, interesting, and encouraging people(s). Some of my songs address the system and the many problems which are arising through its fasaud of democracy and its perpetuation of Plutocracy which is the ruling of the rich over the poor.(ie:Big Corporations siezing power over everyone and everything else on the planet) Music and songs have also provided me with a way to express humor in life experience as well as encouragment to others and contemplation of Life, Love, God, and many perspectives too dificult to communicate to others without the tools of poetry and melody. I think I have the links set so that you can download the mp3 audio files, absolutely FREE!!!...Please feel free to give any of these tunes radio play on pass them along with this web site to your friends...and foes...let them all hear!

Story behind the song
With some research and help from friends, I acquired lots of information about different corporations that are affecting the people in a negative way and wrote this rhyme out of all of it.
Lyrics
Hey Corporation you don’t own me What makes you think that I would ever beg and plea For these chains on my feet and let you keep the key Hey Corporation why you so greedy Internationally exploiting the lives of poor and needy Your elite gormandize turn their eyes from all the hungry You create in a state of totalitarian insanity and in your vanity You turn a profit on a product for your bourgeoisie Yes all you sweatshop CEOs you can no longer keep them hid The thousands of people you exploit to have your Great Affluent Pyramid In Salvador you pack the poor until the heat is too intense You sell their shirt for twenty bucks and pay them only 16 cents The Nike Swoosh is a beast on the loose running Asian tourture Factories Where all workers collectively make less money annually than Jordan or Andre Agassi Who are paid absorbitant amounts to make the shot that counts And keep public minds off your assembly lines where you beat, cheat, murder, mistreat and commit unpunished crimes Now the Corporate world of Disney, an innocent child industry What are these sexual images subtly placed into your movie What kind of sick trickery are you playing on our children subconsciously? But now lets open up the doors to your Haitian workhorse just to get a peak Where women make Pocahontas pajamas 18 hours a day all week You force them to cower pay them 12 cents an hour and all day they can take only one leak So I’m placing you all in the blame Just stop your sick twisted game The fame of your name is no longer the same You’ll find your money cannot buy away all your shame I’m commanding you today to increase your worker’ s pay So that they can afford family provision Take away your armed guards from your slavery yards and improve the working condition. Now if you think that I’m done with this corporate jargon Guess what I’m only now just startin’ Cause check out the misdeeds and the unchecked greeds In a corporation called Lockheed and Martin It’s the World’s largest weapons manufacturer The US’s chief nuclear bomb contractor The masters of war selling arms door to door A Global Terrorist actor Passing Bombs to both sides with abominable lies Saying “oh yes now god’s on your side” You profit with pride but when the time comes you’ll find That all your money cannot help you hide And as if you haven’t let bleed enough of your greed You then profit directly off of human need Through the privatization of the public welfare system From the poor you make sure pockets emptied Now with 80 percent of the world’s nations buying weapons from US corporations I charge you Lockheed to stop this grim deed cause with you I am loosing all patience. Now check out the plight that is placed on the peasants by Unlimited Caribbean Investments Pick a small Central American nation Buy up hundreds of thousands of acres Call the milpa farm plotters ‘illegal squatters’ and plant your corn there in the style of the takers You kick them off of their good farmland You reimburse them with a dry piece of sand Away from the river now to work as your laborer Where you continue to deal a short hand And now across your land a Maya heritage still stands Though you bulldozed their mounds You claim to have found a hole to drop down to their sacred ceremonial ground Bring in the cruise ship industry Hundreds of tourists a day to see A heritage of artifacts but have your guard dogs attack any locals who don’t pay you money Though a smaller corporation than the Standard Fruit invasion I charge you to stop being the self-proclaimed cop and give back all the land that you’ve taken Hey Corporation I’m not your property So keep your false reality and your Propaganda TV away from Me Who gave you the authority to take all our liberty and teaspoon feed it to any who bend knee and kiss the feet of thee But not me, I never gave you my liberty, I never sanctioned your slavery So set all your c
