Scythian (pronounced "sith-ee-yin") is a young Celtic band of four "twenty-somethings" based out of the D.C./Metro area. They are a charismatic group of friends known for their high-energy shows whose music ranges from traditional folk to Celtic rock, with strains of gypsy and Klezmer in between. Led by a pair of young raging fiddlers, Scythian brings a passion and energy that makes them unpredictable, spontaneous and contagiously festive.
