English lyricist working with dozens of composers and artists
I am a lyricist working with many composers and artists around the world and most frequently with 2 guys, Juri Rosenfeld and Mark Ellis who, although their styles are entirely different, are both extremely talented as musicians and composers, as well as producers. Along with these two, with whom I have written more than 50 songs....I have been most fortunate to collaborate with so many others that the list is almost endless but two very talented ladies spring to mind: Dawn Diamond and Amy Caldwell, who have not only both composed for my words but have also both are possessed of beautiful voices and have sung many, many times on songs I have written. There is no ONE genre I write for, since a lyricist has to be able to write for ANY category and I do, but one thing I try to be always, is honest in my work because when there is integrity, there is a way to relate to the song and if occasionally I meander into the poetic, it is because I am and always have been, since the age of 13 years, a poet...but that doesn't mean everything I write is flowery or full of metaphors...as I say, I strive always to be real and of course, most importantly, to be as unique as possible.

Lyrics
Young lovers with so much in common were we deeply in love and so happy to be Joined as one under the sun, moon and stars We built us a prison complete with steel bars oooooooo We fought hard to keep others out of our life We needed no other but husband and wife Our island swam deep in an ocean of love Never heeding a cloud in the skies up above oooooooo Was that just a couple of decades ago? Before time and the lines on your face made a show More changes came slowly, one grain at a time And reason fell gradually out of the rhyme oh no oh no You went off round one corner, I stared straight ahead We started avoiding the marital bed As passion deserted us without consent We knew that our marriage was finally spent so sad so sad It's easy to say that we just grew apart That we couldnt keep time with the beat of a heart That we fell out of step, let the wind blow our sails That our kite lost direction, our wheels missed the rails so sad so sad Others wiser than we, say we should have spread wide Let the world all around us flow in with the tide They say we were too young and naive at the start That we heeded too closely the aim of a dart so sad so sad Let me tell you, my first love, I have no regret There is never one moment I want to forget It was wondrous and precious, my time spent with you Such love's only known by the fortunate few so true, it's so true

Dawn this is a beautiful song with a very good singer. Of course I assume these are your lyrics and excellent as usual. A too common story. I saw the date Nov this year? I didn’t know you were still actively creating music. Very good to see and that last vocal line she really blew it out.
