A slightly reflective melancholy song in a powerful pop rock setting. Lots of harmony vocals. I enjoyed recording those parts just as much as I did recording all the various guitar parts.

Major Snagg is the invented name of the 'band' that perform all my own musical creations. (songs and instrumentals). I play guitars, bass, rudimentary keyboards, harmonica, and sing. Melody has always been important to me... lyrics and guitar solos have to say or communicate something.
I create musical worlds that I hope that you dear listener, will also want to explore and live in for a few moments...or longer if you feel that way inclined.
Story behind the song
My good friend Jesus Oldman, very kindly sent me some lyrics to use in any way I could. His gifts of wonderful lyrics have always inspired me to go just that little bit further in creating a song to feature them in. This song is no exception.
I haven't used all of the lyrics that he sent but the lines that I have used tell a story of love, joy, regret and the realisation that sometimes real life sucks!
