Sharing the same hometown of J.Cole Fayetteville N.C but by way of Orlando, FL, I decided to take my music seriously even though I'm a song writer by nature after the passing of my little brother Kenny Joo$e due to a murder-sucide in North Carolina while I've been living in Florida. Everything I pretty much do now is in honor of him. He did music, and not because he thought it was fun, or he thought he was good at it-and he was, but more out of pinned up frustration of just being in a small town around small minded people, and probably doing things he didn't want to do to surive. We have different Fathers and I just think things didn't turn out the way he thought when he went back to live with him once his dad was released from prison. I just feel guilty not being there or having him around me. He actually had a little following in Dreamville, it was evident at his funeral, my little brother was such a likeable person. I went to school with the children of NBA basketball coach Doc Rivers and yet at different moments in life I lived in the projects, I seen life at both end of the spectrums so I feel like I have understanding about people that alotta people lack. That's why most of my lyrics are based on relationship type situations.
