Another test for my new equipment. It's one of the most complex song I've done mix-wise. It has 15 tracks, including 6 for drums and 6 for guitars.
punk rock songwriter
Artist picture
Rock songwriter with a punk edge. Home-recorded songs that, howewer, tries to capture the feeling of a rock band.
Check the most recent projects here: (folk, acoustic rock) (rock, garage, punk-rock, psychedelic rock) (electronic, punk, blues) --------------------------------------------------- I enjoy write songs and record them at home, that is all about. I have no band, only sing, play guitar and make the rest of instruments with my computer. I'm not a skilled player nor singer, but people who listen to my songs, usually enjoys them. I supose I'm a decent songwriter so.

Story behind the song
I usually don't like to explain my lyrics since they used to be a bit abstract, but this one could have several meanings: a monster could be someone who hurts you or someone who's perceived as diferent. Anyway what interested me about the subject was the dificult relations between people and the tragic personalities of classic monsters. You all have seen "Frankestein"... isn't he in a strange way "loveable"?
Lyrics
Dear monster: I've found your address in a dark pile of papers it caught my eyes, I guess. I was cleaning the room for my baby daughter, she's going to leave the cradle, she will walk on the water. Dear, dear monster: hope you're doing well, ain't seen you since i was in hell. Like a hand-made monster made of flesh or wood you were a lonely monster, monsters used to be so cool. Dear, dear monster hope you're doing well, ain't seen you since i was in hell. Dear monster: I've found your photograph with a hand-written note: it made me laugh. And I wonder what monsters dream when they fall asleep, do they have some treasures or precious words to keep, like words written in ol' photos like this ones that made me weep. Dear, dear monster: hope you're doing well, ain't seen you since i was in hell. Dear, dear monster: just want to tell you that things worked out, I'm now a cool monster too.
