Mario Marisopa
Rock songwriter with a punk edge. Home-recorded songs that, howewer, tries to capture the feeling of a rock band.

Dear Monster Dear Monster
Another test for my new equipment. It's one of the most complex song I've done mix-wise. It has 15 tracks, including 6 for drums and 6 for guitars.

Danny Danny
First song for my next album. Mainly a test for my new equipment (Guitar, mic, mixer). A typical Marisopa song in it's punk-rock form.

Hate Hate
Like almost all songs in this album it's short, direct and dirty. It started with a great rocking guitar riff, but finally I realized that it was Bowie's "Queen bi***". I had to rework it completely, but I hope the energy remains.

Marisopas Marisopas
Una canción sobre mi antiguo grupo "Los Marisopas". Intenta recrear el estilo y sonido que teníamos. (A song about my former band. I tried to capture the sound and chemistry we had).

Walking Down the Street Walking Down the Street
One of my tipical "Lou Reed style" songs. Really, I'm not copying him. I bet he has a time-machine and he's been copying my style since the 60's.

I enjoy write songs and record them at home, that is all about. I have no band, only sing, play guitar and make the rest of instruments with my computer.
I'm not a skilled player nor singer, but people who listen to my songs, usually enjoys them. I supose I'm a decent songwriter so.
Basic rock, LOU REED style, with a CLASH-ic punk-rock influence. I grew up musically in the 80's, so some kind of rock from that time it's also in my music (GODFATHERS, SMITHEREENS, HOODOO GURUS, PAUL KELLY, R.E.M. etc.) I must also name NEIL YOUNG, PATTY SMITH and TOM WAITS.
This are the people I admire most in music and I wish I'd had a 1/100 of their talent.
