Story behind the song
As the track title suggests, the sea offers both joy and terror in equal measure. I harken back to those old documentaries by Jacques Cousteau and his team of daring-do, capturing images in the tight and dangerous underwater corners previously inaccessible if not for his pioneering SCUBA gear. Note: I used the handle of an ice-cream scoop for the gliss effect. :)

Well listening to this filled me with joy and your fretboard skills terrify the crap out of me. Nice EVH tone there, and there really is nothing cooler than an ice cream scoop handle. Whenever I think I know all the scales there are, you always come up with a new one - brilliant stuff, O Stoob!

Great groove here, cool guitar, good idea and title. Enjoyed the track with that mysterious, ambigues atmosphere!
The ice-cream slide is a great idea - good mass with an easy-grip handle. Great melodies keep this interesting and fresh, and the guitar's sea echoes work nicely with the theme.

Great sound...was that really an icecream scoop? :D Fantastic idea, the sea is full of wonders and terrifying things in equal measure - this piece of music really gets that across. Excellent stuff!
