sampled beat 'Jem - Amazing Life'
I originally intended to sample/use Whitesnake - Is This Love, and arrange it to fit a vibe I got from the song 'How You Love Me' by Talib Kweli. I loved the deepness of the beat, and I kept it on repeat when I first heard it. However, when I finally got around to making my song, I got similar feeling with the drums in Jem's song, so I figured I'd use that instead. I loved her vocals, and wanted to incorporate them in based on where her lyrics could fit with mine.
