Trash-pop, guitar rock and melodic miscellany.
Not so much a band as a bloke with a guitar and a laptop, The Smivets deliver a genre-bending blend of pop, rock, punk, prog and many other monosyllables.

Lyrics
The Cornovii were a warlike tribe whose lands were near where I live, around the time of the Roman invasion. One expert has claimed that they were amongst the first people to discover Cubase and made great advances in digital music before the Dark Ages plunged Britain into chaos in the 7th century. Some say their descendants have survived to this day, living in secret among us, carrying on their arcane practices behind suburban curtains. This piece of music was recently discovered on an ancient USB stick in Staffordshire, and is believed to have accompannied a ritual dance or ceremony traditionally performed before important tribal occasions such as mowing the lawn or going to the shops.

good work making a drumtrack melodic and interesting Steve! really gets the heart pumping!!
Seth this magnificent song took me into my ancestral Briton roots. Your drums are so exciting and the mix with all the "other" instruments was perfect for the ancient tribal mood.

Well this give John Bonham a run for his money! I remember when great drummers like Bonham and Ginger Baker would do "world" solos like this - fantastic stuff, superb interpretation and drum patterns/interaction, creates a lot of atmosphere.
