Welcome to the music of Mark Wilson. I write songs, play bass, sing, and lately... play a little fingerstyle guitar. I am also in the learning process of recording some of my songs (old and new). Hope to have some fun and create some worthwhile recordings. Best of all... "I'm gonna get by with a little help from my friends.'' So... just getting started here... more to come. A special thanks to Mike Shelton for lending his talent to this effort. His leadwork on dobro and guitar is featured on 'Take Me Back', and 'One More Reason'. Oh and one other thing. I don't have the time or intention to make this come out perfect. Hopefully, it's good enough to reward your time listening. Thanks, Mark Wilson K-Vegas, NC

Story behind the song
My wife has asked before: "when are you gonna write a song for me"? Well this is my song... for Deborah. It tells of when we first met and how I was afraid to let my guard down after a previous divorce. Needless to say it turned out just right. Love you babe!
Lyrics
It’s Alright Somewhere off the music’s playing It’s a song I used to know And my heart is thru with waiting But my mind just won’t let go Then she calls my name out soft and slow And I can see it in her eyes, and then I know (refrain) Then I know that it’s alright Then I know that it’s OK To open up my heart and let her in and let her love me It’s alright. It’s OK The years just keep on fading And the music keeps on playing And I’m still crazy ‘bout the way she makes me feel inside Like early in the morning, as she’s sitting by the window With her coffee and the paper Sunlight in her hair And she says ‘good morning’ soft and slow And I still see it in her eyes, and then I know (refrain)
