i am Ugliness Man. i do weird experimental electronic music. i discovered about 2 years after i started doing this stuff that there's a genre name for it, "glitch". i like that. i was going with the basic "experimental", but i really like "glitch". so, welcome to my weirdness.

Story behind the song
one of my less obvious joke songs. i wanted to throw together a stereotypical generic "raver" tune. it took me less than a half hour to make this song, which is miniscule for me. my point was that, while there are some very talented people making this kind of music, it is quite possible to put almost no effort into a song and have it end up being a hit. the problem is, some people didn't get the joke, and it worked. when i played an advance copy of Interim for a friend of mine, this turned out to be his favourite song. and he didn't realize it was a joke. so now i'm actually bothered by the possibility of some people becoming a "fan" of my work based on this one song, which i intended to be total crap. next time i try to do a "joke" song, i'll have to remember to make it more obvious, more over-the-top and comical.
