Gospel/Christian Bible-based songs
Music has always been a special joy to me. While still a child I enjoyed classical guitar and piano lessons. While growing up I had opportunity to play for our church youth group. More recently I have begun to write songs. They vary widely in style and are not confined to any one genre. My goal is to please the One who is the song-giver; to honour Him in all I write and play. It is my sincere desire that the Lord uses the music I write to draw people closer to Himself. Wherever you are at in relationship to God, may this music touch your heart and be a blessing to you.

Lyrics
Lament Based on Psalm 60:2 & Joel 2:12, 28 CCLI Song No. 3217081 Key: Am Verse 1 Mourn, I say; weep for this city, sing a lament. Travail; travail as a woman in labor; Cry out; cry out for her unto me. Repeat Bridge 1 (Spoken) If my people who are called by my name Will humble themselves and pray and seek my face And turn from their wicked ways Then will I hear from heaven And will forgive their sin and heal their land. Verse 2 O Lord, look down from heaven. Remember the people of this city. Hear, O Lord, and listen to our cry. Restore us, O Lord; rescue us, we take refuge in You (2x). Verse 3 Turn and be gracious to us. Look upon the distress of this people. For the sake of Your name, O Lord – Restore us, O Lord; rescue us, we take refuge in You (2x). Verse 4 The land is shaken and torn open. Mend its fractures, for it is quaking. For we are so weary, Revive us that we may fear Your name. Bridge 2 I will stretch forth my hand to heal your land. I will pour out my Spirit (pour out my Spirit) In increasing measure (in increasing measure) says the Lord. Verse 5 I will open the eyes of the blind, The deaf will hear, the mute will speak. The lame will dance, will dance for joy. I, the Lord, will do it, yes, I, the Lord, will do it. Verse 6 I will set the captives free Release the prisoners from darkness. The broken will sing a new melody. I, the Lord, will do it. I, the Lord, will do it, yes,I, the Lord, will do it!
