Story behind the song
Being a born-again Christian is an ever-evolving relationship with Christ. Learning new disciplines and nurturing a new relationship is key to the blessings God has for us. This song encompasses that first prayer of salvation, to the every day need for prayer to strengthen and guide us and grow in Jesus Christ. It is very personal to me, especially because I used to think I could do it all on my own.
