new synth pop for the new year
dance synthpop schneider
some people get by with a little understanding, some people get by with a whole lot more..
Think back to when Bon Scott played his last gig with AC/DC (it’s actually this day 27.01) back in 1980 before he would succumb to an untimely death due to misadventure and remember how the world seemed less complicated and more focussed on serious issues as opposed to Tik Tok or Instagram and if we don't think we've lost something we're crazy...but if we think it's coming back anytime soon then we are complete fools. Michael Keaton in a scene from 'Birdman' is here due to his brilliant acting abilities as well - his brilliant turn in Ron Howard's 'Night Shift' showed the world what they could expect from this gifted actor...we're all getting older with every day...we got memories but they fade just like pictures in an album so live for today and make that count as it's really the only thing anyone has...Coldplay is on in the background on our smart TV sound bar...when did the stereo disappear...it's 'the scientist' and man, that's a sad song...lol! can you still recall in the juke box hall when the music played and the world spun round to a brand new sound in those far off days.. in their blue suede shoes they would scream and shout as they sang the blues, let it all hang out.. rock and roll...

Story behind the song
we like the genre and we keep returning to it...we were fed a staple diet of it through the 80's and like vegemite, it kind of has that familiar, nourishing and comforting taste about it, lol!
Lyrics
Callin’ in to see you I didn’t want to get too into Searched for some warning Coulda been a whole lot clearer Someone said you’re sorry Couldn’t feel the way I wanted What to make of anything Somethin’s gone and it ain’t real now I see you, I know you Think that I I see you, I know you I think I ...saw it comin’ In and out of trouble Nothin’ new for you or me Stayed up late till mornin’ I’m comin’ down just to sleep all day Coulda made a million Coulda made a whole lot more Stayed inside forever I killed some noise and locked the door I see you, I know you Think that I I see you, I know you I think I I see you, I know you Think that I I see you, I know you I think I... ...saw it comin’ oh yeah... I see you I know you I think that I I see you comin' babe... [helicopter buzz to fade]

This decade forgot the past and powered through with new tech sounds that grabbed the curious listener. I was certainly one of them and yours put me right there. Nice!

You've nailed that 80's vibe!! The nuances in the vocal technique are perfect for this decade, brilliantly performed! Love the backing tracks/arrangement, again very reflective of the 80's and a great array of tones & textures. Fantastic job!
