some people get by with a little understanding, some people get by with a whole lot more..
Think back to when Bon Scott played his last gig with AC/DC (it’s actually this day 27.01) back in 1980 before he would succumb to an untimely death due to misadventure and remember how the world seemed less complicated and more focussed on serious issues as opposed to Tik Tok or Instagram and if we don't think we've lost something we're crazy...but if we think it's coming back anytime soon then we are complete fools.
Michael Keaton in a scene from 'Birdman' is here due to his brilliant acting abilities as well as the late great John Belushi...dig Mike & John, supreme talents for sure!
can you still recall in the juke box hall when the music played
and the world spun round to a brand new sound in those far off days..
in their blue suede shoes they would scream and shout
as they sang the blues, let it all hang out..
rock and roll...

A page right out of 80s book. You guys do nail this stuff. Like the synths and that is some real 80s tone on the solo. Good story and vocals.

I had to look up what "Don't mention the cricket" means (Steve's comment), but I get it. Singing about a Wonderland and Disneyland in a dark themed synth-pop song, makes you think that something is unsaid..
Very nice piece that absolutely nails the retro goth synth pop scene. Great work!

Like Steve says we won't mention the cricket! On the other hand this track is great Greg. Lots of serious vibe and statement. Really impressed by the varied genres you do and do so well. Excellent final track to top of the other 2 in the ep. Brilliant stuff!

Totally agree with the thoughts that inspired this song. Great vibe, I like the way the dark edge to the song acts as a dichotomy to the bright wonderland concept. A great way to illustrate the opposing situation that it creates.

Your 'Go To' sounds good friend, enjoying the listen.

I like the way that 'Wonderland', has been made to be ironic. We fool ourselves that we are maybe living in a wonderland when in reality, we are living in a place and time that is the total opposite. The slightly 'Dark', arrangement further underlines that. Very cleverly done. I like this a lot.
