Gary and myself wanted to rock out Rebel Rebel, Bowie's most distinctive guitar riff driven song (with exception maybe being 'watch that man', as that one had Keef jealous and you know that's not easy to do, lol!)

think back to when Gary Numan wrote and recorded 'Cars' in 1979 and if we don't think we've lost something we're crazy...but if we think it's coming back anytime soon then we are complete fools... can you still recall in the juke box hall when the music played and the world spun round to a brand new sound in those far off days.. in their blue suede shoes they would scream and shout as they sang the blues, let it all hang out.. rock and roll..

Story behind the song
the repetitive hit with the brilliant riff, which featured on Diamond Dogs (the nineteen eighty-four Orwellian inspired Lp). If you loved Bowie yet did not have a copy of this in your collection then it would be difficult to say that you loved Bowie, lol! Our 'almost' colour by numbers rendition of this great song, part of the soundtrack to growing up in the seventies in Oz suburbia, where summers were endless and living was way less complicated..

Love this Greg ! Used to play this live back in the day like most rock bands did . That repetitive riff is killer ! You’ve definitely sound more like Bowie than I did ! This is a great power version ! Nice one !
