did several Bowie covers with Gary - this is one of our faves as we went for an industrial 'nine inch nails' type feel/vibe - this song can be funky and it can also be heavy....
bowie industrial cover ramsey
some people get by with a little understanding, some people get by with a whole lot more..
think back to when Gary Numan wrote and recorded 'Cars' in 1979 and if we don't think we've lost something we're crazy...but if we think it's coming back anytime soon then we are complete fools... can you still recall in the juke box hall when the music played and the world spun round to a brand new sound in those far off days.. in their blue suede shoes they would scream and shout as they sang the blues, let it all hang out.. rock and roll..

Story behind the song
the whole plastic white boy soul experiment lasted for about 2 years and gave us such classics as 'Fame', 'Golden Years' and 'Somebody Up There Likes Me' (just to name a few) - Bowie appeared on Soul Train which was ground-breaking and John Lennon co-authored a #1 US hit with him...all in all 1975 was a pretty good year!

Like this heavier version of this classic track ! You’ve definitely sound always get that Bowie vibe down and then add your own stamp. Brilliant work Greg !
