Trash-pop, guitar rock and melodic miscellany.
Not so much a band as a bloke with a guitar and a laptop, The Smivets deliver a genre-bending blend of pop, rock, punk, prog and many other monosyllables.

The loping fun riff, the effects and the energy imparted, this is a definite highlight of the challenge tuneage. Bravo!

Thumping riff, wide-spaced Quo guitars and an intro that halts for a piano and singer of intriguing lyrics. Even the bass player is having loads of fun here, and then there's those ladies at the back who just have to join in. Great arrangement.

Captured me from the 1st note, yet another beautifully crafted gem. Floored by your tone, playing, and memorable lyrics...the feel, the killer hook, everything......you continue to create my favorite music, love it!

Beautiful guitar tone and guitar work on that intro Steve. Outstanding vocals as usual - you are one of my favorite vocalist. What a great production. The track sounds awesome. Nice keys and outro as well. Just a masterful track from a master musician, producer, guitarist and vocalist. One of the few that does it all and does it all so well!

The guitar play, for example around 0:35, but coming back different times, reminds me very much of Status Quo's "Whatever You Want". Listening to your music is always a going back in time, guess your inspiration period is in the 70's or 80's.
Like always it's high quality in sound, vocals and lyrics. Yes, nice one again!

I grew up in London, so I get this totally. Brilliantly written and performed...you've nailed the characterization perfectly.
