New band name for my one man band. The ancient form of my first name. My name is Holger Luth. I was about 15 years old, when I got my first guitar. Actually it belonged to an older friend, but the never played it, so he let me borrow it. I had been taking piano lessons earlier, but I hated it. Dollar Bill and the Unmentionables
Strange music for strange people. Dollar Bill and The Unmentionables has been recording slightly silly music since 1989. In 2010 we started making videos to stare at while the song plays. An 'Invisible Band' project. This is a Major Snagg / Big Sleep 'side project', to create and record mostly high power psychedelic type of material (covers and originals). . . Full Tilt Psychedelia . Just as XTC briefly became The Dukes of Stratosfear, so have Tony and myself become The Lykes of Wytch . . . but probably only briefly . . . well maybe not !
