Music is an art, we all paint with different colors, it is your song not mine, not anyones, aside from Jesus.use FX till your eyes fall out if that is what you hear and like. CCM music esp Rock is rich with FX, but you must have a rock ear, mind and talent and be a listener of rock and rock CCM to understand this and enjoy it. I have had only one person tell me I used to much reverb on a super heavy Rock song, That was my intention, it was recorded that way, when we were young we had to read the Rock album lyrics why? in Rock only 25% of the lyrics were clear enough to understand.but you have to be a Floyd fan and other bands to understand. do your thing the way you do it, and how you want to do it and follow your heart and ears. Bless you. I have a song similar in message called Gabriel's Horn You may like it and others from that CD that are Hard rock with a lot of FX and lush reverbs. You wanted a dry sound hear and so you did a dry sound art is art and you are the creator no

Hi Steven, All righty...here's the deal..vocal in front of the music yet not consistent..it's like the volume is in then out, if that makes sense..the music is not heard that well. Add some reverb to your vocal/Backing Vocals, and do some panning of your backing vocal. :) These are my thoughts as I listen to each song. :) I think as you went along...you kinda had gone overboard with the effects as each song had come out...listening from top to bottom, and I can hear the progress you were making, only I'm hearing it backwards. :) I've been there, too, my friend..first I was too dry, then too wet...sometimes I get it right, sometimes I don't..it's trial and error and more trial and error. :)
