I fully realize there are many songs I demo here that don't fit my style/voice, but I can't run out and get a singer that fits everytime I write a song. :)
What I write or cover comes from the heart. I've endured many hard trials in my life, and each one has, in one way or the other made its way into a song that others can relate to.
All of my songs except for noted exceptions are free downloads. I'm not a professional by any means, nor am I interested in becoming one; and so the music is given away just as freely as the message was given to me.

I have been writing, arranging music and singing for a number of years. I do arrangements for other people's music from time to time.
Your musical influences
I've been told that I sound like Karen Carpenter and Amy Grant, but I don't try to sing like them.
I'm a mixture of Southern Gospel, Contemporary Christian, and Country Christian Music, with a few secular songs thrown in for good measure, as there are as many messages in those as the Christian music. :)
You'll hear piano, strings, brass and all kinds of orchestral stuff; as well as guitar licks/playing that was kindly added in several of my collaborations here.
My music is definitely different...I use what sounds right to me..some of it sounds like professional licks..but some is just plain original...this is really what music is all about.....originality. :D
What equipment do you use?
I do all my own studio/pre and post production work using Cakewalk Sonar 8; for my music tracks I use a Yamaha Motif 6 keyboard.
