Hi Gabe,
WOW!!!! THis one is fantastic. I had to listen when I saw Dorothy. Since I have my own No Place like Home. This is fantastic top to bottom. Love the whole feel and the instrumentation is perfect for the song. You have captured pure magic with this one. And I read Bob I think had a comment about sounding like the Raspberries and yes I could hear this being a track on Fresh and I certainly remember the Raspberries. I saw them in 1972 right before they hit it big and was right next to Eric and Wally and Eric said we were really good tonight. And I said oh yes. Went out and bought their album. Saw them on the renuion tour a few years back and they were smoking!
Great work!!

Gabe,Dan,
I'm so glad you are here. This is soo awesome, its very very good all around and just takes you back to a better, less confusing world.I can just picture all the girls in the crowd swaying and singing to this with their colorful dresses and the guys sittin in the chairs with their smokes rolled up in their t shirt sleeves, slicked back hair and everyone tapping thier feet and smiling and having a GOOD time.
Fabulous writing, fantastic performance and productions good, but as mentioned a bit of distortion that does sound like a broken speaker but,the songs soooo good it just rolls off and dissapears vetry quickly.
Sorry about delay friend.
Great job you two!!!

G'day, Gabe,
Lovely old fashioned feel with a modern edge to this, I'm feeling all nostalgic now.....those were the days my friend, so innocent by today's standards :).
Thanks mate,

Takes me right to the 50's-60s for sure, nice one though, fine guitar solos, and a very earthy mix too gives it that authentic rock and roll sound of the past.

Great message...today's where it's at. Will this be the title track for your new album? It'd be a great one. Love this remix. The rhythm guitar sound is the best...evrybody is sustain happy these days..you have gone percussive...brilliant! Great smooth delivery and Dan's solo...man...send that kid to my house! This song is old and new at the same time....that makes it timeless!

You do such a great job with your music, this one is no exception. Memorable, thoughtful lyrics delivered sweetly. Such a pleasant, classic, easy-going, radio friendly flow. Nice guitar work throughout. Another gem.

Nice sound from the 50's, Gabe...and I also hear what sounds like a busted speaker from the distorted guitar, that might also be pick noise..maybe add a little reverb to that part to soften it up some?
Very laid back track, and great singing...I hear so much of Eddie Rabbitt in your vocals, Gabe, it's unreal. :)
Thanks for the heads up...I always enjoy hearing you sing; you're better than you think. :)

Heard Judy Garland was a tough gal to work with... this tune certainly doesn't show that - smooth all the way. Reminds me some of the 70s band "The Rasberries" - don't know how many of us would remember them ; ^)) Excellent sound you have Gabe! Congrats on another catchy Pop song.
Cheers, Bob

Hi Gabe - another very laid back easy listening pop song. Beautifully sung. Loved the clean guitar and guitar solos - spot on. The distorted guitar sound need a little tweakin' - it actually sound a bit like a busted speaker! Aside from that, a really good track. - John
Fantastic track, I really like the retro vibe. Great vocals - a very radio friendly song and great guitar work.
