Great lovecraftian carpenter flick! One of carpenters gems(I like movies).. and this is a damn perfect homage to the film Al. It has that slick mid 90's feel to it that kinda orbited the film(although not quite as "organic").
All I can say is... do YOU read Sutter Cane?
Excellent as always my man! :)

Sure, a thriller feeling here, but also a super nice piece of music! Very versatile, like all your music. The change 3 min into the music really gets you! Composition brilliant, production - also brilliant!

Hey I am just rejoining the soundclick community after a long hiatus and I thank you for you nice comments :) I really like your stuff, also. Grooved and Chilled is an interesting texture but still very smooth and I really like PaperBack Writer. It doesn't go where I think it's going to and it manages to sound both vintage and futuristic _that_ is really cool. If more dubstep sounded like yours I think the genre would stick around longer. Great Stuff! Thank you for sharing it.

Another fantastic composition from Al with imaginative writing, arrangement, performances, and pristine production. I know the story but not the movie, but to me this does have an updated John Carpenter soundtrack feel. Cheers!

Lookout..Al's spreading his wings even farther!
This is just a killer track Al...altho your stuff always is. Wonderful dynamcs. The arrangement and production are superb..drum programming outstanding...the synths just sizzle and the your rhythm guitar track is ace...to say JR's work is "insane" is pretty accurate. It's outstanding, as is the whole wild ride. Huge cinematic qualities and another post that shows you are basically in a league of your own.
Great stuff man.

At first title sight I thought "Beatles" ;) Wow - this soundtrack is LOADED! Some very cool "robotic" rhythmic synth in here. Cool guitar ride at the 2:00; 4:08 points! Excellently, originally, flawlessly performed / produced!

Wow! Such a cool sounding track! I really like what you have done here. Very creative work with the fx's and the electronic sounds. Fantastic guitar solos!
Love the part around 03:10. Wow! How do you come up with all this cool stuff?
Not only an awesome written tune, the production is also flawless. Really nice work Al and JR.

Wow, what's this? A totally new Ascenzion in the totally new year?
Seeing the title I immediately had to think of the Beatles, but this is totally different of course.
And now I push the play button for the second time. The start is very cinematic and thriller-like. At 0:35 there is the change into a very unusual mix of electric guitar and violin orchestra. The drums sound electronic, effects as well. Voices, synths, crazy solo guitar. The other guitar, together with the violins, keep the basic structure going.
2:52: A surprising change. A Rock guitar that gets more and more mixed with electronica. Everything's getting more and more crazy, until:
4:07: Those two guitar notes sound a bit like Mike Oldfield.
4:30: Everything is getting wild with that other crazy guitar.
This is really amazing and there is so much in this track. I hear interesting influences everywhere, but the base for me is Progressive Rock. You have added some modern electronic stuff, and it's very ci

When I saw the title, I thought a Beatles cover, but glad to hear this different genre and special props to JR for his wicked good riffage. Great sounding track from the get go and a station add it is - Happy New Year!
Yes!!!! Movie material for sure... Lovely flair you have Al. Makes a world of difference in how you approach it. Your vision and musical insight (case in point, that little "double up" you are doing on the synth part) are so fun to listen to. There isn't a moment here when my expectation isn't on high alert. And the most amazing thing musically? You DON'T disappoint. :)
