Born March 14, 1980 to Veronica Garrett and Cornell Pickett, M.O.S resides in the Hardee St/Cheek Rd section of East Durham, NC. As a youth, he was a victim of the streets but always had an incredibly slick way with words. Despite being a great thinker as well as an articulate speaker, Lee never performed to his fullest
potential in school. Instead, he focused on the streets that raised him. Through the help of family, friends, and later mentor DJ Skaz, M.O.S emerged into a promising recording artist with the initiative to strive towards music
and slack off the "Street Life."Your musical influences
Influences from Notorious BIG, LL Cool J, Scarface and Jay-z eventually gave M.O.S. the motivation and pure drive to pursue a career in Hip-Hop music.
