Its just me, one person, but I played guitar and goofed around alot as a teenager. Started using softsynths and other music software in 2001. Although my guitar playing hasn't improved much, I became obsessed with making electronic music and have been making albums ever since.Have you performed in front of an audience?My songs are carefully crafted on a desktop computer, so I'm currently not taking it live. I still want to join up with a band sometime though, just to jam.
Your musical influences
Some of my favorite music has very little influence on how I make my own music. For example, my favorite band is Tool, but they play rock, and they play live. I compose most of my music on a computer, so theres not much influence there. And although I expose myself to a variety of electronic acts also, I don't feel like I really sound that much like any of them either. I'm currently listening to alot of baroque and classical music, because I like the way all the different little parts come together, but obviously, I'm not that.What equipment do you use?
PC, stereo rig, midi controller, Reason, Goldwave, Acid, guitars, pedals, amps, electronic drum set, I sold my bass, have some mics laying around, books are always a huge help.
