I bought my first 12 string Guitar in 1969 and taught myself to play, having been inspired by so many artists of that time. I soon found that I had an aptitude for songwriting, probably as I come from a large musical family, though unlike my family I had never had any formal music lessons. I've continued writing ever since and along the way I have experimented with many genres of music and many different tuning styles on both 6 and 12 string Guitars. Although I have always recorded my work I didn't begin to record albums untill 1994 and since that time I have recorded 8 albums worth of songs. Most have been solo works, but I have also worked as a band with 6 different line-ups and produced 2 albums under the name of Virtual Biscuit. The latest CD is entitled Dark&Digestible Urban Folk in collaboration with Tracey Simmons on Electric Violin, who was originally in my very first band line-up in 1998. I write about Life, Love, Dreams, Legends, Spiritual, Supernatural, Social Issues, Protest and Environmental Issues. I have always strived to remain original in my songwriting and tried to push out the boundaries of music.

Hi Phil, So sorry for not responding to your earlier post. I haven't been very active on the music side lately, but plan to get back to it soon. Sounds like you have been through a heavy emotional time. So sorry to hear of your loss. I will respond in more depth later, as I am at work typing this. Take care, my friend.
