Dolly Latex #1 in Comedy chart - thanks, everybody!
Mar 27, 2008

Many thanks to everyone who's played and kindly commented on our light-hearted-but-with-a-little-sting ditty about Dolly Latex, she seems to have taken on a life of her own. I'm sure she is open-mouthed with surprise to see herself at No.1 in the Comedy chart, but we are so grateful to you all.
Organizing my new stations
Mar 20, 2008
I've just spent an evening sorting out my Stations, as there was one with over 30 tracks by Travelling Records artistes. I've now split those into three stations of about ten tracks each, plus a station of songs by other SoundClick artistes. I've set up separate stations for each of Bright Spark's albums, not all the tracks are uploaded yet but I'll put them up when I can. Enjoy :) Heather aka barrenelly

Hi Heather,
I just came by and reviewed Spit and Polish while I was here.
Are you still on s/c these days?

Hi Heather,
It seems the interest on here isn't what it was but I thought some Christmas greetings would still be appreciated.
So have a great one! And please send me an update or a link to your news!

I heard your song "Maybe I..." on this week's Pop Goes The Mountain Show and really enjoyed it - you've got a lot of talent and a beautiful sound. Feel free to drop us a line any time - it's always good to touch base and make new friends.

Really enjoyed gigging with you again and people seemed to like the songs we played. One year we are going to have to rehearse and really knock em dead!!
Take care

To all my dear SoundClick friends: my dreams have come true and my problems are solved :)
My home is saved from repossession as I have managed to remortgage it again and now have 25 years to pay it back, which I will manage. I am so happy after struggling for so long, each month selling more of my possessions just to pay the previous crippling mortgage for a house that at that time was in someone else's name, and hardly daring to dream it would ever be mine, well, now it is!
Thanks for all your support, everyone! I hope soon to put up some music by new artistes, plus some new songs of my own.

Thank you for the reply, I could agree you on that. About writing music to the opposite of your mood, although I have always found my way of writing to be more 'fitting'. I usually write more meaningful music when I'm in a deeper state of mind, however, there is a massive difference between meaningful and depressing. The music i have on here, is meaningful, but not depressing. (hopefully) But I have songs written of the latter aswel. A friend of mine died about a month ago, I wrote a song for him but have not yet recorded or written it properly. As for most of my music, it is revolved around the passing of my Dad, a few years ago. Music is a therapy, as much as it is an enjoyment for me. Thank you, I will listen to those tunes you mentioned now. X

Hi, thank you for the great message. I really like your tunes, I like Take It Away, your music is so much more light-hearted than mine, I think sometimes my music is too deep and meaningful, but I guess we write what comes natural to us. I am glad you are friends with me and I look forward to hearing more tunes and conversing some more. Keep In Touch.
Marc X
