May the out pouring of love from people all across the country and around the world continue to embrace you and give you strength. Hate crimes should not be tolerated. The events of the past few weeks confirm the message that we need to remember to treat each other with kindness and respect. We need to teach ourselves to see each other first as human beings, that we are all equal. My wish is that someday the word hate will only be used in history books.
