My actual experiences while playing the Native Flute have been wonderful, magical and mystical. Open your mind and use your imagination and take a journey with me. I hope you enjoy these stories and music as much as I enjoyed composing them. I tried to capture my love of nature, the joy of music and combine the two in this book. This Book has three companion Native Flute CD’s that that are part of the Trilogy of music that go along with the stories in this book. They are “Flute Songs for a Blue Moon”, “In the Spirit” and “Shadowland Flute Songs”. The stories in the book are arranged so that you can read the stories and listen to the music that was composed at the same. Many of the feelings and emotions in the songs tell the musical story of the written word. Many people have asked which came first the stories or the songs. Well it actually happened both ways. Sometimes the songs were inspiration for the stories and other times the stories were the inspiration for the songs. Yet other times they developed simultaneously. The stories can be read out loud one at a time playing the music as a back drop and it will set the mood for the text or read together as the CD’s plays. The book is 120 pages and contains 42 illustrations by artist Susan Nelson that illuminate the short stories they accompany. This item is brand new and unopened.
