MUSIC IS EVERYWHERE. EVERYTHING SOUNDS.
Music is one of my favorite languages. So, if you want to know more about myself, just listen how I sound.
Some facts of my music destiny:
My music destiny had been developing in several directions at the same time. …Or these were just different streams of the same river.
1) SASHA LUNA
It’s hard to name the genre of these songs. I’d say it’s “Indie” or “World Fusion” (because it really is the fusion of my world ))) It’s just the way I sound.
2) KEYHOLE SURGERY
This is quite a different story. But also one of the ways I can sound. It’s a mixture of Electro (that sounds sometimes rather…rough), Post Punk and for some tracks also Trip Hop.
3) MOON JAZZ
Three years ago I’ve started to perform together with jazz musicians (as an experiment and new interesting experience). Today it’s my profession, that’s very exciting and never a burden. I was generally inspired by songs, performed by Billie Holiday in 40s and 50s. I like swinging! And I LOVE blues.
4) The name of the band in translation from Russian: "SEA HOT", but in fact it's hard to translate.

Finally I found this formula! Now I play the new songs with brilliant musicians. We are 4 women. Two cellos, voice, ethnic drums and percussion. Coming soon! As soon as I’ll get our studio records. In December 2008 we had a successful premiere of two songs at the “Drums of the world” festival.

Why the house of the moon??Are you a Cancer maybe (moon rules Cancer if u didnt knew)-or is Luna your real surname??Dont think so, cuz your russian,so, would you please explain to me whats the fascination/thing with you and her??The Luna I mean...I see your albums are full with the pics of the MOON Atu from various Tarot decks.
By the way, I am Cancer in ascedent - so am influenced by Her ALOT i can say, and am also a very god practicioner at Tarot and Astrology arts...Any other talents/hobbies (besideс muzika) you have u cud tell me about???

Hi Sasha, happy holidays !!!
My name...its very old Macedonian name meaning V (in) - AR (eARth-see how the root for english earth is mako Ar - tho its very archaic, but still used today) - DAN (given). So, in not so loose translation would mean - Given on earth/On earth given.
Its unusual for here aswell as its very old and I love it very much!!! Glad u like it too :)!
