I've been writing songs for most of my adult life and I guess it's my passion! Thank God for music! I'm primarily a guitar player, singer/songwriter, however I do love creating grooves on my keyboard and adding guitars and vocals afterwards. I also enjoy just sitting in front of the mike with one of my acoustics and recording that way! Whatever mood I happen to be in on any givin day! I've been on other songwriting showcases and just recently found this one, so here I am. Looks like a fun place, with, from what I've heard so far, a bunch of talanted people. I'm glad to be here and hope I can make some friends.

Hey Dean/Kevin, thanks for the post about your days in NY.
I don't live in Brooklyn now, I was raised in Queens (Astoria). I moved to Brooklyn in my 30's and spent 12 years in Park Slope. I then returned to Queens (Astoria) and married. I currently live a few feet away from the spots I haunted as a teenager. In fact, we just had a reunion from that community after 45 years ... I got to see many friends I last saw as a teenager and they are all in their 60's ... just remarkable.
So I will think of you when I see a tugboat with the big 'M' on it.
I love your music, it is wonderful and I would give anything to have heard it when you were performing live.

Hi Kevin, had a bit of a reunion with the rock band I was in 25 years ago (Que Decree). A week of recording and general mayhem - it happens every 5 or 6 years. If you get a chance, stop by and check out 'Unstable' and 'Not to be played'. Bit of a slide show of the week's recording too. Cheers. - John

Hey Dean,
Sorry to hear about your mom and I know what your going through.
My wife's father passed away a month ago with this terrible illness just shy of his 84th bd. We are taking care of his wife of 65yrs.and it has all but killed her. It hasn't been the same around here for quite awhile now and probally won't be for some time for the healing process to take over. They do have certain drugs that can slow the progress some. My feelings and prayers are with you my friend.

Hello and thank you for looking at my page. I am so glad you found the note about the Alzheimers cd. My dad died recently and had vascular dementia, so although slightly different, still mostly the same symptoms and very upsetting for everyone, and certainly can be very hard to understand. My warmest wishes to you and your family.
The artists on the cd are all on myspace and gave their songs and time freely. I have met a few of them and they are lovely people. Let me know if you would like the links to there as well.
I look forward to listening to your songs this evening.
Very best wishes, Yvie

Hey Kevin,
I'd be happy to have you collaberate on a song with me. I'm working on one now that I believe you'd enjoy.
I'll rush it over to you as soon as I get it down so you can give it a spin to see what you think.

Hi Kevin, thanks for giving my songs a spin, great to hear from you! I've just discovered Cammeron Ave Blues on your page today, I really like that one, a marvelous vibe to it - I've added it to my station. Have a good week.

Dean,
Thanks for the comments on Happy Go Lucky,I just wish I had better recording equipment and knew how to really use it. I like my songs but,it seems like somethings missing or not recorded right.
Thanks again.

Kevin,
I posted one of those songs I had in the fire and I do believe I should have let it burn up. Let me have the feedback on it.
Happy Go Lucky.
