New songs on the way
Jan 19, 2009
I've written a couple new songs that I'll put up soon. Their pretty unique. Here are the lyrics to two of them.......... Colorado I've never been to the west coast I've never smelled the east coast water I've always loved the mounatins but I've never been to colorado Get me on a jet plane get me far away from here as far as you can I've gotta live for every second I've gotta learn to dance the dance I've never been to the west coast I've never smelled the east coast water I've always loved the mounatins but I've never been to colorado I watched John Denver Seen him play his mountain songs Heard him speak of land and sea Seems He saw a million places I've never been to the west coast I've never smelled the east coast water I've always loved the mounatins but I've never been to colorado I gotta get out there to Colorado. To Prove Fidelity If I thought you might believe in me maybe I would If I thought that you might see me maybe I could I’d give anything that you want if I could See I have to prove my fidelity to you I don’t know where I stand anymore I looked left and you turned and hit me from the right Now I don’t know where I’m going to tonight But it’s not here and I can’t go home I’ve been waiting so long for you to hear my song And you didn’t even want to hear me sing at all I guess I’ve stopped caring but you know The only thing I’ve stopped caring for Was any once of hope I had I know I’m gonna have to prove my fidelity to you I know I know and it’s alright I know and I Can’t see past the truth this time so I’m gonna have to lose But I know you and I know I owe you I do
Recital
Jan 14, 2009
Ok so, the recital could have gone better, but it could have gone a lot worse too. I messed up the beginning but recovered and after that it all went smoothly. I just kept looking out at the audience to my friend who sat there with his cheerful smiling self and I was fine. He helped me through it. He's a great inspiration. I'm not sure we're going to work with our bass player anymore, he kinda just stood there without playing his bass. Our singer, Allie did an amazing job and from what people tell me, after the mess up, my playing was solid. It was kinda fun but at the same time, I'm still trying to get my head around the whole incident. Pictures coming soon I hope. I'm still working on finding a time to record some songs with Allie. It might take a while, but hopefully we'll both have time soon. I find it easier to record stuff by myself but I don't feel like my voice is very good so I cringe when I'm doing it a lot. Other than that, if anyone has any questions, feel free to ask away. free high fives for all, Maggie
The World As We Know It
Jan 12, 2009
Have you ever thought about what it would be like for your life to completely change one day? To completely shatter because of one choice you made? That's been on my mind a lot over the last two days. Not because my life is doing said changing, but I know people who are. It seems clear that their choice was stupid, but that doesn't change the fact that they did it. I think about the choices we make and how each one has the potential to change us whether that change be good or bad. Do me a favor and think before you act. Think about the people you love and those who love you. Think about everything good in your life and imagine what it would be like to lose it all, then ask yourself, "Is what I'm about to do worth it?" I'm betting it's not. Peace always, Maggie

I'm so excited, I'm changing my guitar strings sometime this week. They're sad, old, 7 month old strings that want to murder me for keeping them on for so long.

Coming soon... I'll post some tracks with my friend and band-mate, Allie, who really should be doing all the singing because my singing is less than good. We'll record some stuff, probably this week or weekend. Maybe next week depending on our schedules. Thanks for the support. :-D
Hi Maggie, I've just finished a couple of collaborations - one with 'The Last Leaf' called 'Anywhere with you' and one with 333maxwell (Chas) called 'On the Verge of going Nuclear' both of which I couldn't be more pleased with. If you get the chance, drop by and give them a spin and let us know what you think. Cheers, - John
