AZIZA is a 24 year old singer/songwriter, and producer for the piano. Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio AZIZA has been classically trained for 11 years and has recently grown to have a unique self, definitive, expression for her more popular music in its art form as it is today. In 2002, winning 1st place at the National level, for a classical contemporary piece written by AZIZA, she has continued to inspire many of her fellow classmates as well as potential fans with her raw, true, God given talent. "As a young baby, I used to hum when I would eat. Maybe that is my true definition of who I have and while still continue to become says AZIZA. To me, music is something that comes from the heart. It all starts with a tune. A tune inside of your brain knocking to get out and be shared. Some of my best ideas come knocking at 2am, and boy do I not get much sleep says AZIZA." AZIZA attended Ohio Wesleyan University, where she performed at numerous student organized events and talent shows, upon popular demand from student requests. She also taught piano lessons in the little free time that she had. It was there, she really found her nitch, classifying herself as a R&B/Neo-Soul artists. As a recent college graduate of OWU, AZIZA has had the opportunity to really focus more on her music. In 2007, she started her own independent label "FIREproduction" and is working on a CD self titled "AZIZA" with an expected release date TBA. All Rights Reserved ©2008
