Steve's first two albums "Heartbreak" and "So Help Me God" were released in 2004. The title track "So Help Me God" shot up the charts to #6 on Music Row and #1 on the Gospel Music Charts. It wasn't long after that and "Heaven Knows", "Between You and Me" and "Next in Line" followed suit. Steve became the #5 most played international artist in 2005. Then took some time off. In 2006 Steve wrote "It Might as Well Be Me" - made a video and it was played at the 2006 Olympics representing the State of Hawaii. In 2008 Steve wrote "Toes in the Sand" about his carefree time on the island of Hawaii and performed it with Grammy winners John Keawe and Richard Hoopii, and Hawaiian Na Hoku Hanohano Award winner Brittni Paiva. The song went on to win the Hawaiian Music Awards Single of the Year. (Its worth noting that the song was originally written for country radio but after Steve heard John Keawe' wonderful performance of it on Slack Key along with Brittni's Ukulele and Richard's voice - it was obvious that it would be a great Hawaiian song!) Steve wrote "Tough Guys" in 2009. A song based on a true story about his visit to a church in Michigan. As Steve was waiting for service to begin, a big, tough looking biker dressed in leather came into the chapel - grabbed a pew with his left hand, knelt down on one knee - bowed his head and blessed himself. Steve thought to himself "I guess even Tough Guys need Jesus". A song was born. It was released through Glory Train records and it too went to #1 Internationally. Steve Went on to release "Wing and a Prayer" in 2010 on Glory Train Records. This was his favorite single as it depicted his life perfectly. He wrote the song based on his having gone through some rough patches and getting pretty banged up. The song depicts his return to God for strength and healing. It was the 2010 single of the year worldwide.
