I can't remember when I didn't want to learn to play guitar. There was something about the feel and sound that came out of a guitar. First I loved the feel of the sound vibrating from the guitar on my chest. I would put a stack of records on the record player when I was around 10 years old and play along with them. It didn't matter what kind of song. I learned to find the key a song was played in. Later I found notes that matched the song. I learned to play "wild wood flower" Like Chet Atkins by the time I was 13. It sounded like Chet to me anyway. I always worked at hard labor jobs. I was a miner, I worked on a highway crew tieing steel. I did so many jobs it gets boring. My goal was to play professionally. I got the Chance to travel with Jim Rich and the Coins in 1968. I've been playing since. I have been married 30 years, I still spend time in my "studio" everyday. I have a collection of my favorite guitars. Life is good. I also have 4 kids, 4 grandkids. I really am enjoying my retired life. I have also recorded 4 cd's and produced over 200 songs for my Dad. I'll include some here.
