In the past, I've released 3 albums & 6 EPs with various bands and projects but I never felt comfortable trying to sell them because, in my heart, I never felt like they were good enough for people to buy but for the first time I think this stuff is worth paying for, especially if you're a guitar player. I now have an album available to download at:) will inspire many people to start learning guitar, or some instrument. I think if more people had a creative outlet in life, there would be less people turning to heavy drinking and hard drugs to deal with their problems which ultimately leads to them hurting themselves and those around them. If you have a creative outlet, such as guitar playing, you can be self-creative instead of self-destructive. Creating a song to express something that's gone on in your life, not only helps to put things into perspective, but also it can act like a 'spunge' that soaks up the bad feelings and shields you. As strange as this sounds once you start creating, you'll know what I'm talking about. Also you'll be left with, hopefully, a really cool song you can be proud of. Also, as you get more into guitar playing, you hear music more as guitar music, not by the style so much, which brings me back to what I was saying earlier. Eventually you'll just hear music, whether it's classical or RnB, no more concern with styles. I must admit, I still don't like hip hop though.Some people critisize me for being 'negative' (I really hate that term 'negative' by the way) because of my music but ironically they're the ones seeing this in a negative way. I take my pain, loneliness, anger, whatever and turn it into music, which can potentially help others too, not just me. I'd say that's a pretty 'positive' thing. I'm not vandalising or getting in fights or whatever, I'm just Rockin' . Finally, what I hope to achieve with this album, I hope I can open the door for other artists like me who are really into the creating side of music, but not so much the performing & 'shmoozing' side of music.
