What the heck is going on here:
This project grew out of a 10 year break in music composition. During that time, I was composing other things, like linguistic arguments and dinner menus (both of which I continue to do)...but not notes. So, reaching back to my Green Jesus (and Pigmaster) roots, I decided to begin an experimental project that allows me the freedom to compose anything I feel like, whether or not anyone else likes it but me - The ECGreen. What I like in a composition: 1.) The freedom to choose whatever I feel like at any time, just because, 2.) Orchestral instruments used "improperly", 3.) Carefully controlled and thought out dissonance, 4.) Rhythmic and harmonic complexity and their opposites, 5.) Noise and 6.) Humor.
