Where to start...
My name is Joe Dumpe. I'm 20 years old, now at Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia. I began playing the piano when I was around...I don't even know. Maybe like 10 or 11 years old. I played a song by ear when I got home from church, and my parents recognized my talent. I then began piano lessons.
The lessons didn't go too well. Maybe a full year of lessons went by until I had no more desire to be forced to play music I didn't like. So I decided to take a break from piano lessons. The break lasted a long time. And during those years I consistently taught myself how to play; learning new techniques while playing music I liked.
All of the music I compose and record is from my Korg Triton Extreme. That's it. My songs usually consist of piano, strings, and other various instruments/tones. Occasionally I'll throw in some electronic/progressive compositions, or whatever I'm interested in at the moment.
