Aloha!
I'm Ken Yap and glad that you stopped by! I started playing a ukulele at age 4 and at age 8 I started playing a piano accordion. At 11 or 12 yrs of age I picked up the guitar that sat in the corner of the house for so many years collecting dust. And since then havent stopped. I joined the Boys Glee and Boys Choir in Jr High School. I was in and out of bands in my teens searching for people my age who wanted to write their own music without any luck. Then I joined the US Navy and with a few sailors formed a band called Gemeral Quarters and kept the moral up in ships company. Then of course marriage. At this point in time my mid twenties I stopped covering tunes and started searching for my own style and sound. Throughout the years , the good times and the bad I never stopped playing. The end result you now hear. I thank you for stopping by and sharing bits of time with me and hope you truly enjoy my music.
