I toured Western Canada professionally for 3½ years throughout the late 80's with various rock & roll cover bands, of note which were "Even Steven" and "Passage". We were based out of Calgary, Alberta (my home town) and worked from Saskatchewan to BC, from the US border to Yellowknife, NWT.
After realizing that a real job was also necessary, I applied and was accepted to the Southern Alberta Institue of Technology (SAIT) CTSR (Cinema, Television, Stage & Radio) programme. Ultimately, I achieved a 2 year diploma with a 3.4 GPA. Gaining from this, I worked as a professional large-format digital production technician doing everything from bus wraps to boat registrations, but after doing that for 15 years and not getting paid for it, I switched careers to become a commercial driver.
Ahhh it's all about lifestyle, is it not? Work to live, not live to work.
Drove taxi to the rent - hoped to move up to bigger transit soon. Ended up smack dab in the middle of the graphics industry again as a typesetter and graphic production tech.
I want to design music and graphics to represent symbols and ideas. To achieve that, I create music and digital art representing new ideas, or reinforcing old ones through colour, tone and mood.

Ok, I just scored a brand-new Yamaha DGX-630 and it's a freakin' wet dream!!! Until now, I've been clunking away on an old Kawai MIDI controller board with no action and fkng ¾ sized keys!!! Sweet merciful crap! No wonder my music sounds so aweful, LMAO! Anyhoo, dear fans, I promise to fix lots soon. *BREAKING NEWS*

The first tune is out! Now, according to the information on SoundClick, I should be approved and in the rankings within 24 hours.
*taps foot...*
Is it 24 hours yet?
It's out after 5 years - Stand For Free. I've also upgraded my production software to the latest version: Powertracks Pro 2012. Really looking forward to some alcohol free writing since this is my 19 month anniversary of sobriety!
