Well, I was born deaf with 95% loss in both ears. It wasnt until i was 3 years old that i have my first set of hearing aids. A year later, my parents asked a successful American woman to come down and teach me to speak reather than to learn sign language. A choice my parents made for my benefit, and I thanked them dearly for that.
I did go to Deaf School, but that only lasted 2 years, for iw as dead bored with the pace of education. I wanted a challange. I asked my parents and they complied. I started Primary School att grade 2 depite a year older than anyone other kids there. And depsite the teachers there wanted me to put into grade four for my intelligence. I chose to start at the beginning, I dont not want to miss out anything in my education.
So here I am, A deaf man that fits neither in the deaf world, nor in the hearing world, but very content in where Im standing.
I have a goal to acheive for myself, and I will achieve it, sooner or later. You will soon see my name on the big screen, on the charts, and god knows where else, for I hoped to be a successful Film Score Composer.

Hello Again Matthew!
You are welcome for the encouragement, you are very talented!
I unfortunately am not gifted in the creating of music like so many others here on Soundclick. I only joined this sight because a friend has some music on here and I thought I'd check out some of the other artist's music while I was at it! This is a fun place to hear other musician's that ordinarily I'd never encounter in my every day world.
Nice to know that I'm not the alone in my unquenchable thirst for the rest of the Wheel of Time series to come out! I'm anxiously awaiting number twelve!!!
Good luck to you with the film company in Australia, and your music, you have so much talent!
Warm Wishes!

Dear KariBeari,
Why thank you for such warm compliments This sort of thing I receive partly fueled my inspiration to create more.
I too love Robert Jorden's WHeel Of Time series. I cannot wait for the paperback edition of the 12th and final book. Although I didnt want it to end, but I do feel the story needs to have a closure. I am more doubly excited with the prospect of a Film that is to be made by a company. Who knows when that will undergo production, and again, who knows how much quality they produce it.
Yes, I feel for Jorden's sickness, I hqave him in my thoughts most times in hopes he be cured, not for the sake of him writing more stories for our entertainment .. he he he..
I will check out your songs, but right now, i have been in a very busy stage of my life. Soon, I will settle down and get back to business. And maybe, I hope for get a break with a film company in Australia to produce music for them.
Cheers

Hello Matthew! I must say, I've enjoyed listening to some of your music tonight! You are very talented and I'd like to thank you for sharing it.
I added a bunch of your music to my station and I chuckled when I listened to the song about Egwene, I love Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series and am anxiously awaiting the next installment of the series. Its really sad that he is so sick.
Anyway, hope you are well, your music is fantastic and relaxing and wonderful to listen too!
I do wish you luck! No, I've never heard of this Australian series, but I still look forward to hearing what you create! I'd really love to visit Australia one day, I've never left the U.S., but someday I'll be free enough financially and my children will be older, and I'll get to do more of what I want! I hope!!! Have a great day! Karina
